6 Movie Trilogies For Begginers

Today I am going to look into some of the best movie trilogies of all time. When understanding trilogies, and their significance, a person has to under stand how hard it is to make a film, let alone three films. These trilogies will span across time, and genres and are in no specific order. I will go into the three movies that make up the trilogy, what genre they are in, and why they are important.I will link more about the films

1) The Dark Knight Trilogy- Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The dark Knight Rises
Genre: Superhero, Crime, Action
If you read my blog you can understand why I love these films. First off the movies are directed by Christopher Nolan, and have Christian Bale staring in them. These movies take a griddier look at how a super hero film can be shown.

2) The Austin Powers Trilogy- Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, Austin Powers in Goldmember
Genre: Comedy, Spy, Action
If you are looking into watching a comedy trilogy I would suggest starting here. Mike Myers plays a good chunk of the characters played across all three films, and some you will not recognize.

3) The original X-men Trilogy-X-Men, X-Men 2, X-Men: The Last Stand
Genre: Superhero, Action, Adventure
Yet another super hero trilogy, but these films also show how a good super hero movie can be made. They all have grit, and yet they all have a humor about them. The third movie in the trilogy is not as highly rated, but the films together tell a great story.

4) The Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy- Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Genre: Adventure, Action
These Disney films show how a good pirate movie should be made, With the all star cast of Johnny Depp, Orlando Blume, and Keira Knightley. All three movies are worth the watch, and you will have a fun time with them all.

5) The Evil Dead Trilogy- The Evil Dead, Evil Dead II, Evil Dead III: Army of Darkness
Genre: Horror
If you are looking to watch a series of frightening films, that also have some comedic aspects to lighten the movie up at times then this series is for you. The movies are extremely gory, and I would recommend only adults watching these films. Across the series they get more light hearted as they go, but be ready for a scare.

What would this list be without Star Wars on it. Arguably the best trilogy ever made. I would recommend watching all three in a row if possible. The best representation of a space opera out there.
